Giuseppe is a character exclusively created for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. He is a stereotypical Italian-American who is an acquaintance of Mario and Luigi, and who plays an arcade game called Jumpman in a diner in Brooklyn.
Trivia
- Giuseppe physically resembles the original look of Mario from the Donkey Kong arcade game, complete with the matching red hat and overalls.
- Giuseppe's voice actor, Charles Martinet, voices him in multiple foreign dubs of the movie such as the brazilian dub, the spanish dub and the italian dub.
