Giant Banana
The Giant Banana is an item in Mario Kart: Double Dash. It is a special item that Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong can obtain in Double Dash. It is at least twenty times bigger than the ordinary Banana Peel. Once a driver makes contact with the Giant Banana Peel, it will explode, and in its wake will be three normal banana peels.
In Mario Strikers Charged Football, the Giant Banana was one of the many items used by the players. When used, the player will drop a giant Banana behind them, which will hit anyone who runs into it. Similar to the Banana item, the Giant Banana has a larger range, and can hit more than one player. The Giant Banana is perfect to use when being chased after. However, unlike the smaller bananas, the Giant Banana item only uses one banana, not multiple bananas. Giant Bananas also appeared in Mario Smash Football which were used by Donkey Kong as a special power-up though.
