Fear Roulette is a special magic attack used only by the boss Ding-A-Ling in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The move takes one person of the party. When used, a red diamond appears over a member and begins aiming at a member of the party randomly. When it stops, the diamond falls on the victim and the person faints immediately. Wearing the Quartz Charm item, the member prevents the attack. This attack is similar to other instant death attacks such as Shaker, Magnum etc.
Trivia
- The red diamond looks exactly like the Fire Crystal that appears with Culex, and may actually be the same sprite.
