A Fake Item Box in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
A Fake Item Box is an item in the Mario Kart series. They look like item boxes, but make will make a kart tumble if it hits one of these boxes. They have an ¿ instead of an ? in Mario Kart 64, another ¿ and red in Mario Kart: Double Dash, and show up red on the touch screen map instead of blue in Mario Kart DS.
