A Clubosaur is a triceratops-like enemy that Wario encountered in Wario World. As its name implies, it stands on its hind legs and wields a club. At any time, the Clubosaur may charge up and go on a rampage, swinging its club frantically. The Clubosaur is invincible in this state, but the attack doesn't last very long. The club also blocks all frontal attacks, so Wario needs to sneak up on a Clubosaur from behind.
Mecha Koopas are another one of Bowser's minions. They are very similar to Koopa Troopas, but they don't have shells on their backs. They get paralyzed for a short time when stepped on, so Mario can kick them around and pick them up and throw them. When they get thrown however, they don't get very far like regular Koopa shells do. Also, they are technically invincible unless you kick or throw their paralyzed form at an enemy because they always get unparalyzed after a few short moments.

They make a short appearance in Super Mario World, where they only appear in the last World. Also, the final boss of the game, Bowser, throws them off of his Koopa Clown Car, the hovering clown machine he occasionally can be seen riding in. You must throw them up so they hit Bowser's head. They are like a cross between a Koopa and a wind-up toy. They have a wind on their back and their appearances are quite comical. They walk in a rhythmical way and they must wind themselves up again from time to time. In Mario Party 5 you fight a group of them in the final battle. They walk around trying to hit you with their fiery breath. Jumping on them once will cause them to explode. But keep in mind that jumping on a Mecha Koopa that is about to breathe fire, flashing in red, will hurt you. Mecha Koopas have also made small cameo appearances in Mario Power Tennis and Mario Party Advance.
After enough punches, the Clubosaur loses the club and reverts to standing on all fours. Now the Clubosaur may charge at Wario, a more powerful attack that leaves him immobile for a few seconds.

Mecha Koopas as well, make a short apperance in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga in the final level.
Other varieties of Clubosaurs include Skelosaurs, Gatorbabies, Polar Bears, Grizzlies, Masked Clubbers, and Club Mummies. Aside from a few costume changes and choice of club (the Polar Bear uses an icicle, for example) , these enemies behave in exactly the same way as Clubosaurs, though they do get progressively more aggressive.

Wario and a Clubosaur

A Clubosaur is a triceratops-like enemy that Wario encountered in Wario World. As its name implies, it stands on its hind legs and wields a club. At any time, the Clubosaur may charge up and go on a rampage, swinging its club frantically. The Clubosaur is invincible in this state, but the attack doesn't last very long. The club also blocks all frontal attacks, so Wario needs to sneak up on a Clubosaur from behind.

After enough punches, the Clubosaur loses the club and reverts to standing on all fours. Now the Clubosaur may charge at Wario, a more powerful attack that leaves him immobile for a few seconds.
