Line 1: Line 1:
A Pepper is a type of spicy food that can either be green, red, or blue. They are most hated food of the Yoshies . However black and white Yoshies seem to like them. Red and green appeared in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga and Yoshi's Story and all three appear in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. In the Mario & Luigi games they serve as stat boosters, green raises defense, red raises attack, and blue raises speed.

Peppers also appeared as one of the many fruits in Super Mario Sunshine. If Yoshi eats one, he will turn purple, but Yoshi will never require one to hatch out of his egg.
