Dark Koopa are insane, Punk-style dressed Koopas that live in sewers. Their insanity makes them spin and run in place crazily, and it is very bad to be attacked by one while in that state. A Shell Shock from a spinning Dark Koopa leaves the victim dizzy. The Dark Koopa is found in Toad Town Tunnels in Paper Mario, and the Pit of 100 Trials in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
You can tell a Dark Koopa from other Koopas by their purple shells.
