Template:Species-infobox Chickens[1][2] are helmet-clad birds in Super Mario Land. They soar through the final level of the game aiding Biokinton, in the Chai Kingdom (World 4-3). They are said to be warbirds trained by Tatanga.[1]

They are also shot out by the shy cloud Biokinton. If Mario doesn't destroy a Chicken before it comes near the Sky Pop, it will swerve to hit him. However, if they are shot and defeated, Mario is rewarded with an extra 400 points.
