Template:Species-infobox Chickens[1][2] are helmet-clad birds in Super Mario Land. They are named after but do not behave like real life chickens. In Super Mario Land, the Chicken enemies soar through the final level of the game aiding Biokinton, in the Chai Kingdom (World 4-3). They are said to be warbirds trained by Tatanga.[1]

They are also shot out by the shy cloud Biokinton. If Mario doesn't destroy a Chicken before it comes near the Sky Pop, it will swerve to hit him. However, if they are shot and defeated, Mario is rewarded with an extra 400 points.
