Check and X Barrels are a special type of barrel that appears in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The Check Barrel helps the kongs while the X ones do the complete oppisite. In a few levels with a Skull Cart, these appear in, and they are important among these levels. In Target Terror, the act as switchs to gates that are in the way.
