Template:Newsubject Template:Galaxy2box Throwback Galaxy is a galaxy that features a redesigned Whomp's Fortress from Super Mario 64, is confirmed to make an appearance in Super Mario Galaxy. The music is also an orchestrated arrangement of the original Super Mario 64 Main Theme, as the original version was also played on Whomp's Fortress. New enemies were added, such as the Paragoombas and the Skeeters. Other enemies seen first in the original game also return like Piranha Plants, Thwomps and Whomps. A Bob-omb Buddy also appears in the galaxy.
Because of its appearance, Throwback Galaxy may be Whomp's Fortress itself.
