Egg Plant

In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS, these small tulip-like flowers spurt out eggs that Yoshi can use, if he catches them. If he ground-pounds near one, they spit out three eggs at a time, but then delay afterward. Some will try to fake you out by spitting Needlenoses instead of eggs. These Needlenose-Plants are annoying, but ironically, you can slurp up the Needlenoses for eggs, so technically they're just like normal Egg-Plants; they give you eggs.
