Sun

In Super Mario Bros. 3, The Sun appears in the desert area in Desert Land, going by the name the Angry Sun, where it tries to lunge itself at Team Plumber.

In Paper Mario, it lives in Flower Fields and can't shine in the sky due to the clouds being created by Huff N. Puff and his followers. Thanks to the heroics of Mario and his team, they managed to take out Huff N. Puff's Puff-Puff Machine so he can shine again, and Mario can get up to Cloudy Climb and challenge Huff N. Puff for Klevar, one of the 7 Star Spirits.
