The Amulet is a rare artifact given to Mario by Booster in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. If Mario can successfully hide from Booster's Snifits while behind the curtains and ultimately help retrieve Booster's Mario Doll, Booster will return the favor by giving Mario the Amulet. However, this didn't mean Booster would give up Princess Peach, as he quickly escapes his tower and heads to Marrymore.
The Amulet is a powerful accessory that boosts a party member's attack, defense, magic attack, and magic defense by seven points each (when equipped, of course). The only drawback is that the Amulet reduces the ally's speed rating by five points.
For some reason, despite being a great item, the Amulet has a bad smell (perhaps because Booster may have worn it before giving it to Mario).
