Pink Yoshies are a species of Yoshi. Not all of the Pink Yoshis are females. The Pink Yoshies in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island are only playable on the world's second level.
Pink Yoshies also appeared in Super Mario Sunshine. If a Yoshi ate a Coconut or Banana, it would turn pink.
