Prince Mush is the first ever champion of the Glitz Pit. He appears at the end of the third chapter in the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Prince Mush was captured and had his power drained by Grubba's power-sucking machine, after he found out that Grubba was using a Crystal Star to drain fighter's powers. As such, Mush was absent for an extended amount of time. Afterward his older sister Jolene went undercover to look for him, and after accidentally seeing Grubba power up by using his machine, she carefully guided Mario to defeat Grubba. Subsequently, Mush appeared out of the Gold Star which powered Grubba's machine, and was reunited with his sister Jolene.

Trivia

  • Prince Mush's unique hairstyle may be a throwback to certain Toads (such as Raz and Mushroom Boy) or Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars; this game was notable for having Toads with similar, uncommon hairstyles consisting of bangs sticking out from under their mushroom caps. However, it is probably just to match with Jolene's hair.
