Brown Yoshi
Brown Yoshi's are a species of Yoshies. They're playable on every worlds 6th level. Making it an extremely rare type, as a matter of fact, there rarity is with the Black and White colored Yoshis. Though we never see there favorite food, it could be chocolate or coconuts. They also never appear in the present time, meaning that they might even be extinct or at leats critically endangered.
They also made a cameo appearence in Yoshi's Story, which is almost always missed. When the "press start" screen is left alone for a couple of seconds, the story for the game will be told and while showing all the Yoshi's on the island, one of them is a brown Yoshi. It is unknown why he wasnt included in the game, its possible he could've been in the game at one point but was taken out for a bunch of reasons, unpopularity, time contraints, and it would've made the game even more easier if you were given another life, though it is unknown why he couldnt've been unlocked like the Purple Yoshi, who also appeared with all the Yoshi's in the cutscene.
They may or may not appear in the new Yoshi's Island DS, since its been said that the worlds are shorter, however the shortest they go to is 6 levels, which are the levels they appear in.
