Super Mario Bros. Wonder, is an upcoming 2D Super Mario game for the Nintendo Switch, announced during the June 21, 2023 Nintendo Direct. It features a brand new art style and new power-ups, with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Yoshi, and Toad as playable characters, and is the first new 2D Mario game since New Super Mario Bros. U released over 10 years prior. It is planned to release on October 20, 2023.[1]
