The Southern Fried Egg Hotdog was a Hotdog that Mr. Hoggle was going to create out of Hotdog ingredients and a Southern Yoshi Egg. It was supposedly going to make fighters stronger. However, since Mario rescued the Yoshi Egg, this Hotdog was never purchasable.
