Knuckles the Echidna is a red echidna from the Sonic series. He will compete against Mario and others in Olympic events in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. In the game, Knuckles will be a power-type character. In the Sonic series, Knuckles is the guardian of the Master Emerald.
