Phantamanta
The Manta Storm is a boss in Super Mario Sunshine. It's a pink sillhouette ghost-like manta that attacks on Sirena Beach. When hit by water, it splits up. After a while, all the clones turn purple and rush towards you.
It leaves a trail of green and yellow electric sludge. If there is even a pixel of it left, Mario can get electrocuted when he touches it. The most effective way to defeat the Manta Storm and the slude is to spray them with a single, powerful blast.However,it isn't easy. It turns out be the REAL hardest boss in the game,even harder then the final boss! When all of the mantas turn purple,there are about 128 mantas to kill,which is the reason its so hard!!!
In Mario Golf Toadstool Tour a name on the scoreboards is Phanta Manta, making most Mario fans call him Phanta Manta. Either name is correct.
