A Red Magikoopa is one of the members of the Koopa Troop, abbreviated as R Magikoopa in Paper Mario. It is one of the Magikoopas. Watch out for his attack increasing spells and clones. Guard against his Magic Blast one second after contact to dodge correctly. Sometimes it rides a broom, but this doesn't affect his stats in any way, except hammer attacks will miss.
In Mario Superstar Baseball, one of Magikoopa's alternate costumes has him wearing red robes, making him resemble a Red Magikoopa.

Trivia
- In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, a Magikoopa, after being brainwashed by Smithy, dons red robes. After he is defeated in combat by Mario and his allies, the Magikoopa's red robes turn back to blue.
