Thwomp Elevator

The Thwomp Elevator is a character from the Nintendo DS game Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. It helps Mario, Luigi and the babies reach the bottom of the Thwomp Caverns while chasing Bowser who presumably kidnapped Princess Peach who was really Princess Shroob in disguise. While ! Blocks are in the way of the Thwomp Elevator's falling, it comes to a stop and won't be able to descend until the bros and babies find and hit the corresponding ! Switch. Once they reach the bottom, the Thwomp Elevator is stuck in a hole in the ground. After the bros and babies defeat Bowser and Baby Bowser, the volcano sends out a fiery geyser launching the Thwomp Elevator in the air and Bowser and Baby Bowser (who are on the Thwomp Elevator). After Bowser is knocked off the Thwomp Elevator by a Shroob UFO, Baby Bowser (with the Thwomp Elevator) land on the Shroob Mothership. The Thwomp Elevator is not seen again after this and the bros must now use Blue Warp Pipes in order to descend within Thwomp Volcano during any later visit and can no longer reach the bottom.
