Super Mario Kun is a Japanese Comic book series (スーパーマリオくん) by Sawada Yukio, a Japanese Cartoonist. The books follow the basic outline of the games, starting at Super Mario World and the series are currently at Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

There are 35 books in the series presently, and are continuing to grow, as the games come out.
