Hyper Goomba

Hyper Goombas (and the rest of the "hyper" sub-species, for that matter) first appeared in Paper Mario. They live in Gusty Gulch, including the space beneath the Windy Mill. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door introduced a few new "hyper" creatures. Along with that, it revealed that Hyper Goombas and their clan also live in Twilight Trail.

Hyper Goombas have the ability to raise their attack power by 6, allowing them to do a lot of damage. It is highly suggested that they are defeated before they can attack.

Hyper Goombas may be Gu Goombas from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, or close species.

Hyper Paragoomba

A Hyper Paragoomba is a green Paragoomba with the ability to charge its attack power, in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He has the ordinary Dive attack, but when Charged, his attack power blasts all the way up to 8! Wow! When smacked around enough, he becomes an ordinary Hyper Goomba. It only lives in Twilight Town and Gusty Gulch.

Hyper Spiky Goomba

A Hyper Spiky Goomba is a Hyper Goomba with a spike on its head. It has amazingly powerful attacks, and it itself is not easy to take down, either, with that nasty spike on its head. Ordinarily, their attack power is three, but when charged, watch out for an incredible nine attack point attack. Mario needs to really stay on his toes with this dude.
