Re: Your username

Nope, that's not where it came from. I originally wanted to go with something that was interesting, but not just another instance of your average, everyday username. I finally settled on the (presumably) simple yet understated "Phoenix"...though whether or not that adequately accomplishes what I was trying to do is kinda in the eye of the beholder, I guess. I was going for the legendary mythical bird (wanting to let the name sorta speak for itself), but only after choosing that username did I realize just how many different things it made reference to, directly or indirectly. However, that's one that never occurred to me (I've never actually played any F-Zero games before).

Thank you for telling me, Phoenix :-) The phoenix is a rather cool mythological creature (though my favorites are angels) and because of that, it's understandable that people might think it references something else, since so many things reference it. (If you like racing games like I do, I strongly encourage getting an F-Zero game, especially F-Zero X, my favorite in the franchise) Watcher of Game (talk)
