Corporal Paraplonk is a red Koopa Paratroopa who wears green shoes and a red bucket on his head. He is one of Bowser's minions in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. He is first seen with Private Goomp and Sergeant Guy in Dimble Wood. He, Bowser, Goomp, and Guy launch a Banzai Bill at Bowser's Castle, which was occupied by Fawful.
Corporal also teaches Bowser how to attack in Bowser's Giant form.
Later, at the safe underneath Bowser's Castle, Corporal Paraplonk and his companions watch as Bowser defeats Fawful Express. When Bowser opens the safe however, the three are revealed to have been brainwashed since he last saw them, as they push Bowser in. Corporal Paraplonk was seen right after the closing credits, where the minions ask Bowser for forgiveness. Bowser forgives them as long as they help with repairing the castle.
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
In Mario & Luigi: Dream Team it is revealed that Corporal Paraplonk was promoted along with his associates to Bowser's Royal Guard. He travels with Bowser to Pi'illo Island to find Princess Peach. Corporal Paraplonk also helps Kamek disguise as Princess Peach forming a lower section of the disguise. It is also shown that he and his associates dream of bossing around Kamek and Bowser one day.
Corporal Paraplonk is also fought in this installment as part of a Boss Battle. During the battle he'll heal his team mates with Mushrooms and revive them if K.O'd. Corporal Paraplonk also attacks Mario with a constant spinning attack which ends after either Mario gets hit or Corporal Paraplonk is countered. It is also shown that Corporal Paraplonk helps Sergeant Guy with the combo attack involving the 3 by giving the large Bob-omb to Sergeant Guy and following him as they chase Mario.
After being defeated, Kamek demotes them to janitors and sends them back to the castle.
After Bowser was defeated, he, Kamek, Private Goomp, Sergeant Guy and Corporal Paraplunk decided to retreat. Although Bowser was really mad that his plan had failed and that it was Antasma's fault, he told his three minions that they did pretty well by their usual standards, much to their joy.

- Corporal Paraplonk (as well as Parakarry, Koops, Koopie Koo and Holly Koopa) are the only Koopas to wear a different color of shoes than its shell.
- His Italian name, along to Private Goomp and Sergeant Guy's ones, references the Italian terminology "Tizio, Caio and Sempronio", meaning "three random guys", similar to the expression "Tom, Dick and Harry".
- Corporal Paraplonk shares the rank and coloration of Giroro from the anime Sgt. Frog.
