Salvador Drainado, "the best plumber in all the world."
Salvador Drainado, alternatively spelled as Salvador Drainotto, is a master plumber who appeared in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Brooklyn Bound / Cher's Poochie", and whose statue was seen in the flashback episode "Plumbers Academy / Glasnuts". Like Mario and Luigi, he accidentally fell into a Warp Pipe and got stuck in the Mushroom Kingdom. For years he worked on finding a way back home, and offered the Mario Bros. a one-way trip back to Brooklyn. They almost left, but decided against it at the last minute, choosing to remain the protectors of the Mushroom Kingdom.
