Pumpkin Zone
The Pumpkin Zone is one of Super Mario Land 2's many Worlds. It consists of 4 stages and 2 bonus stages (not hidden stages). From the outside it resembles a giant jack-o-lantern in a spooky forest. Pumpkin Zone is usually considered a mild difficulty World.
Pumpkin Zone takes place inside a giant jack-o-lantern, hence the name. However, it revolves around a spooky forest. Stage 1 actually takes place in such a forest, and features perplexing enemies and Boos. Stage 2 takes place in a haunted cemetery full of Podoboo and other spooky creatures. Stage 3 is set in a haunted schoolhouse containing Boos and undead Goombas. Stage 4 takes place in a witch's hut. The boss of Stage 4 is the concerning witch. The two bonus stages are accessed from Stages 2 and 3 respectively.
The Pumpkin Zone may be considered to be the most "normal" of the Zones, as nothing out of the ordinary occurs there, and it is not odd like the Mario Zone or Tree Zone.
