A Ninja is a black-clad warrior who fights for the Smithy Gang in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. In battle, Ninjas fight by flinging shurikens (throwing stars) at their enemies. They also wield small knives to attack opponents. Although it doesn't have any special attacks, it does have many resistances and high special defense, making physical attackers more useful. After a Ninja loses all its Hit Points, it will perform one more desperate attack before dying. They are often accompanied by Hippopos in battle. A Ninja is also the factory chief of Smithy's Factory.
