Rawk Hawk, also known as the "Feral Nuclear Reactor", was the reigning champion in the Glitz Pit until Mario arrived to steal his title. Mario did this in order to obtain the Gold Star, which was supposedly found on the Champ's Belt. However, Grubba, the manager of the Glitz Pit, was in possession of the real Gold Star (the one on the belt was a fake) and was using the Crystal Star to power his strengthening machine, allowing him to transform into Macho Grubba. Rawk Hawk's only appearance was in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
Rawk calls himself the Hawk. This (and Rawk Hawk overall) could be a parody of the wrestler The Rock.

- Tattle Log: A Champion Fighter. Battling him requires a certain level of artistry. "You wanna hate me, but you can't help but love the RAAAAAAAWWWWK!"
- Tattle: That's Rawk Hawk! He flips, flaps, and slaps! ...That's what the book says. He's really good at aerial maneuvers, but other than that, he's pretty...meh. One thing you should know is that Rawk Hawk NEVER fights above the board. Carelessness leads to lifelessness, y'know!
