Capitals

Hi, just some advice for you: When writing game names, or any proper nouns for that matter, please use capital letters (e.g. New Super Mario Bros. Wii, not new super mario bros wii). This is an encyclopedia, so it should look like one. Also, instead of using the word "you", use "the player", "players" or "they", because we write our edits in third-person. For example:

"The player should hit the Brick Block."
Not: "You must hit the Brick Block."

Please read the Manual of Style for more info. Thanks, and keep contributing! Mario (Gold) costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC

how do you upload pictures?World 6 (talk) 03:14, 2 September 2012 (EDT)

Click this: [1]. To find it yourself for future reference, it's in the toolbox section to the bottom right of the Wiki. It reads "Upload file". Before uploading, read the rules and everything unless you want your pictures to be deleted as so commonly happens. Hope this helps, JackpotPersonolisedMiion3DS.JPGJordan 03:26, 2 September 2012 (EDT)

Userspace

Dear World 6,

It has come to our attention that you are currently in violation of the userspace policy. Please review the policy and abide by it, or else a warning will be issued. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello. I was just looking at your user contribution, and I noticed that you are making a few too many edits on your userpage. In order to make less edits, I suggest that you use the preview button when editing your userpage, so as to not make too many edits. Also, we recommend that you edit mainspace a bit more. If you are unsure on where to start, why not expand an article on our stub list?

Gloomba Image

Hey man. I just saw your recent addition to the Gloomba page. While the Mariowiki has no policy against a small number of fan-created images, it is against the rules to add such images to mainspace articles. Gloombas do not officially appear in any games other than the Paper Mario franchise, so adding information that they do is essentially false advertising. Additionally, Bone Goombas are not officially related to Gloombas; they are more likely a nod to the recolored Goombas that appear underground in the first SMB game. Just keep in mind that fan theories really shouldn't be placed in main articles, and keep on editing! BLOC PARTIER. 08:21, 3 September 2012 (EDT)

I'm not saying your wrong but i've played new super mario bros 2 and i've seen a gloomba in a ghost house. Unless it's the blue goomba from smb.World 6 (talk) 08:32, 3 September 2012 (EDT)

Sure, the blue Goombas in Ghost Houses look a lot like Gloombas. However, it's not official. Nowhere does it specifically say that the blue Goombas are Gloombas. Since Gloombas are unique to a specific spin-off franchise and since the NSMB games are big on nostalgia I think it's safer to assume the blue Goombas are a nod to the original game than to assume that they're a very specific Goomba subspecies only in Paper Mario. You can believe they're Gloombas in NSMB2, but unless you find an official source that states the connection, please don't put it in main articles. BLOC PARTIER. 08:55, 3 September 2012 (EDT)

Thanks for telling me :) World 6 (talk) 08:58, 3 September 2012 (EDT)

No problem. BLOC PARTIER. 09:00, 3 September 2012 (EDT)
