The S.S. Brass.

The S.S. Brass is a flying boat made out of instruments. In Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix, Mario (or Luigi and Toad) use it to fly across the Mushroom Kingdom to get the Music Keys. The songs "In The Whirlpool", "Step by Step" and "Always Smiling" are set on the S.S. Brass. The main form of propulsion, powered by the trumpet-like turbines, gets revamped into trombone-like turbines after the player defeats Pirate Lakitu in Fishing Frenzy.

• The S.S. Brass resembles an Airship and the flying boat in Super Mario Bros. 3.
• The name S.S. Brass is a combination of the term "S.S.", an abbreviation of "Steam Ship" (which means the S.S. Brass runs on steam), and Brass, a family of musical instruments.
