White Tanooki Mario

Template:Diff Template:Form-infobox White Tanooki Mario is a white lucent version of Tanooki Mario in Super Mario 3D Land.

White Tanooki Luigi.

When Mario loses five lives in a level, an Assist Block containing an Invincibility Leaf will appear. The block emits a tone to alert him of its presence. If Mario takes the Invincibility Leaf, he will become White Tanooki Mario, clad in a white and golden version of the Tanooki Suit. In this form, Mario is permanently invincible until he clears the level. After that, he reverts to the regular Tanooki Mario. Unlike in his invincible form, Mario cannot earn lives by defeating enemies. The player cannot obtain this form in levels he has already beaten or in any of the special worlds. Because of this, Luigi cannot obtain an Invincibility Leaf without using cheats or hacks, as he is unlocked after beating Special World 1.
