Bowser Jr. Playable Status

I don't think it's confirmed he is playable. In the pipe game he could have been an NPC enemy. And in the propeller game, he's in the Koopa Clown Car unlike all the others, which to me implies he's some sort of boss. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 14:43, 7 June 2011 (EDT)

Yeah that's what I think too. He's probably going to maintain some nsmb like role where he interrupts the minigames. I mean he seems to either be running away or performing a boss fight. I think we should list him in a Boss/Playable? Characters sections. Propeller Toad

Now that I look at this image, I have to agree that Junior is not playable. (Or at least not officially announced.)

Characters

Actually you are wrong their. Just because Toad happens to be playable (this goes for Dry Bones too) doesn't mean that Toadette and Birdo are characters. They have not been seen in any photos or videos. However, you are most likley correct due to the fact that they have been in prevoius Mario games.-User:FireFlower

I'm afraid Dry Bones is not playable, because you can clearly see there are 5 characters at the same time! (Peach, Mario, Yoshi, Wario and Dry Bones. Birdo beauties

Possibly a supporting character in minigames, like Penguins.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii but party style

When I saw the trailer there were so many things New Super Mario Bros. Wii styled like at one part Luigi threw a shell at Goombas and in the Background there was a fortress on a hill like the one in the 1st world of NSMBW. Is this going to me like a NSMBW party game just with a different name?Yoshi Go99

No I don't think there are 5 player mini-games - one of the players must be an enemy.

In that minigame with the Dry bones the one standing didn't have glowing pupils so maybe it is an enemy of some sort.

Can you people seriously look at the image and apply common sense? This game is not related to the Wii U in any way, nor has 5 player minigames. Dry Bones is not returning as a character this time around, and those Dry Bones are there to make sure the players avoiding the one in the copter also avoid the Dry Bones. --Mechawave 15:25, 9 June 2011 (EDT)

Today, I went into gamestop, reserved mario party 9, and one of the staff said the game will come out January 3rd, 2012

This does not mean it's official. GameStop is notorious for giving out incorrect release dates. Also, there's no actual Internet source so it's automatically invalid. GameStop also does not say the release date itself on their website. --Mechawave 16:50, 14 June 2011 (EDT)

Nd Cube?

The referenced article for Nd Cube only states that they made Wii Party. It didn't even mention Mario Party 9, and thus this is only purely speculation. YL

Does anybody know if a trailer for Mario Party 9 is gonna be releaed soon? Same applies for Luigi's Mansion 2 and Super Mario 3D Land.

Also, if you look really closely you can see other characters and different cameos too. Some of these characters is a Yellow Toad, Daisy (who is riding a Dolphin by the way), Waluigi (In a custom version of the Koopa Clown Car), Kamek (or a Magikoopa), Bowser (in the original Koopa Clown Car), and you can see Koopa and Shy Guy riding a Mini Star. You can see Peach's Castle (or Boo's Horror Castle) in the background too.
