Pichi-Hime6!(talk · edits) 16:19, 28 December 2011 (EST) Re: Userspace Actually, I reviewed the policies extensively before creating that page and can tell you, the page does not conflict with any of the rules. First off, the userspace policy states "pages made only to be transcluded onto another page (e.g.: User:JohnDoe/Userboxes)". The purpose of the template is not to be transcluded onto another page, it is to regulate the usage of the userbox and restrict permission to those who have actually asked. You'll find that there is no code that you can copy/paste to do that. Secondly, that proposal is a failed proposal, which means its results can be subject to much debate. When a proposal fails, it does not always make a policy, as the people opposing the proposal may not have wished to make a policy. That proposal was to make a policy, so the opposers' objective was to not make that policy - not to make an opposite policy. In addition to this, if you actually read the opposes, most of them were simply to avoid putting userboxes into the templatespace, none of them were opposed to the idea of putting them in the userspace. I hope this clarifies things. Just be sure that I reviewed the policy very thoroughly to find something that actually conflicts with that page and could not find anything.
