Muddy Buddy is a creature in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. When it comes into contact with the player, it will stick to Yoshi's feet, allowing the player to safely traverse over spikes.
Only one Muddy Buddy appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It is located in Level 5-4, Sluggy the Unshaven's Fort. In Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, it also appears in Secret 2, Mystery of the Castle?.
