Bobo is a giant bird and the ship's guard of the Black Sugar Gang. She appears as the fifth and second boss in Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land and Wario Land II, respectively. In both games, she is the boss of the S.S. Teacup stage.
In the original Wario Land, Bobo attempts to hurt Wario by releasing Watches from her mouth or using her giant, clawed feet and sharp fangs inside his beak. To defeat her, Wario has to use the Watches to propel himself high enough to be able to jump on Bobo's head. It takes three jumps to defeat her.
