An M-Token is a special collectible coin making its debut in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! and returns in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!.
In Minis March Again!, they are white coins with a blue border encircled and a red M in their centers, appearing only in certain stages. They grant the player an extra life, but otherwise do not offer any points to the player's score and can be skipped if desired.
In Mini-Land Mayhem!, they appear as blue coins with a golden border around them, along with a gold M in their centers. Due to the absence of a life system like in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, the purpose of an M-Token was changed.
