The Birds are a species of generic, multi-colored birds that live on Isle Delfino during the events of Super Mario Sunshine. Each colored bird gave out a special reward to Mario if he sprayed them with the F.L.U.D.D.. Additionally, a Yoshi can eat one or spray one with Yoshi Juice. Like most generic birds, the Isle Delfino Birds would fly away at the sight of Mario and are usually perched in high places.
Types of Birds
Green Bird
Green Birds were the most common type of bird and appeared in almost every open area of Isle Delfino. If Mario sprayed them with F.L.U.D.D. or Yoshi Juice, they would drop a coin.
Blue Bird
Blue Birds were the second most common type of bird and appeared in almost every open area of Isle Delfino, but in lower quantities than Green Birds. If Mario sprayed them with F.L.U.D.D. or Yoshi Juice, they would drop a Blue Coin.
Yellow Bird
Yellow Birds are a rare type of Isle Delfino bird. In fact, only two appear on the whole island, one in Delfino Plaza and another in Noki Bay. If Mario sprayed them with F.L.U.D.D. or Yoshi Juice, they would drop a Shine Sprite.
Red Birds
Red Birds are the rarest of all the Isle Defino Birds, only appearing once in a secret level in Delfino Plaza. If Mario sprayed them with F.L.U.D.D. or Yoshi Juice, they would drop a Red Coin.
