Revision as of 10:39, May 14, 2008

How are Boos part of the Koopa Troop? They might not directly help Bowser, but just attack Mario when he is in a ghost house or is in their territory. There isn't enough (or no) proof that Boos or its subspecies are part of Bowser's minions.Knife (talk)

  • there not, there minions of Big/King Boo. He's his own boss. WarioLoaf (talk)

To Gofer: Remember to have your rankings in .5 steps (see here). You should round up your .9 rating. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 13:40, 30 July 2007 (EDT)

Game

What was Boo's first game? King Mario f_KMThumbm_38614a2.png

Apparently, the first that's listed under Appearances. Super Mario Bros. 3. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 16:58, 12 August 2007 (EDT)

Predators?

I feel the need to point out that despite Tubba Blubba eating Boos, that does by no means mean that ALL Clubba's eat them. Tubba is the only one ever seen doing so, making the following line: 'Despite being ghosts, Boos still have predators. The only known predator of Boos are Clubbas, which seem to highly fancy them, as seen in Tubba Blubba's lust for ghosts.' Highly speculative, I think it should be rewritten so that it does not say ALL Clubba's eat them, as there is no solid proof of this matter. --Candle Jack

Agreed, Tubba Blubba was the only Clubba seen eating Boos. My Bloody Valentine

A lot of this article is speculation and generalizes way too much. -- Son of Suns

Then pretty much the entire thing needs a rewrite then, doesn't it? I may give it a try. --Candle Jack(Still need to make Userpage)

Kind of in line with that is the redirect here from ghost. Should we make a disambiguation page instead? Or a full article? Stumpers! 20:14, 5 December 2007 (EST)

Quote?

Can someone put up a quote for this Boo Article? It also needs a notable act in the Mario Series. IG Boos Notable act was in Mario Party 8 it was playable.(Super F22 Pilot 04:16, 22 November 2007 (EST))

F22, how about the quote from Super Mario 64? "Heh, heh... ghosts...don't...die..."? I don't exactly understand your "notable act" concept, but I think it applies to Boo. Stumpers! 20:05, 7 December 2007 (EST)
Isn't Big Boo the one who actually said that?

Blitzwing

Hmm... I can't say he didn't, but I can definately say those ghosts did. I watched a speed run video to get my "..." count just right, and I saw it just after a l'il normal Boo was "killed". Stumpers! 16:17, 13 January 2008 (EST)
It's uttered every time you kill a Boo (In SM64DS, anyway)and you can hear Big Boo distinctive cackle while it's said. --Blitzwing 16:30, 13 January 2008 (EST)
Watch this video. It's of the original 64 and you can distinctly hear the normal Boo voice. Stumpers! 21:02, 13 January 2008 (EST)

Boo-Hoo

At least in Sweden, Boos are called Boo-Hoos. (Or was called, that is)--LordVoldemort 11:10, 11 February 2008 (EST)

They are also Buu Huu in German. Somehow in English it's different, I wonder what the Japanese is. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 11:38, 11 February 2008 (EST)
The Japanese name sounds entirely different, it's Teresa. --Grandy02 13:22, 12 March 2008 (EDT)
Teresa!? That's a women's name!--LordVoldemort 11:25, 23 April 2008 (EDT)
But it's true, look at the official Japanese site for Mario Kart: Double Dash!!: Click!. There you can see "King Teresa" at the end. I would like to know what the name "Teresa" means, as a name for ghosts. --Grandy02 17:11, 9 May 2008 (EDT)
