Vanish Mario is a special form that appeared in Super Mario 64. After activating the blue ! Switch in a hidden level, Vanish Caps are available. By collecting one, Mario transforms into Vanish Mario. In thisform he's practically invisible and gains some new abilities: he can walk through enemies, certains walls and is unaffected by fire.
In Super Mario 64 DS, the Vanish form is garanted to Luigi.
