I think it's about time that this happen. See, there are two different variants of Dash and Back Spaces in Mario Party games: the ones that move the player a fixed number of spaces, and the ones that move the player a random number of spaces as determined by a Dice Block. Sure, these two types of spaces are usually given near-identical names, but otherwise have different functions and appearances. Therefore, I propose that we split Advance Space (the fixed variety) from Dash Space, and split Back Space (fixed) from Back Space (random).

Split out the two variants of Back Space and split Advance Space from Dash Space

Template:SettledTPP Template:ProposalOutcome I think it's about time that this happen.

Support

 1. Archivist Toadette (talk) Per my proposal.
 2. Waluigi Time (talk) Makes sense, there's a difference between a space that forces you to move somewhere specific and what's essentially a "roll again" space.
 3. Benjaminkirsc (talk) Per both of them. Makes lots of sense (per Waluigi Time). It makes you focus on the topics better since they're two (totally) differently uses. Also, that should've been split a long time ago (like 2018 or 2019). But here we are talking about them so yeah, I agree altogether.

The "(fixed)" and "(random)" identifiers were suggested by Mario jc, so let me know if you have other suggestions in mind. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 13:38, October 23, 2020 (EDT)

@Archivist Toadette, we should drop Mario Party 3 references and made a new title called "Back Space (Nintendo 64)" and use the current details from this article. What do you think? Benjaminkirsc (talk) 18:58, October 27, 2020 (EDT)
