In Super Mario World, Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brothers are first encountered in Donut Plains 4. They hover around on a platform composed of two gray Rotating Blocks with wings on each side that swings back and forth. Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brothers attack by tossing hammers from their swooping platform, and can be defeated by various methods, most commonly hitting the platform from below; they can also be defeated with a stomp or fireball, though the hammers make it somewhat difficult to do so without taking damage. Amazing Flyin' Hammer Brothers make a reappearance in Super Princess Peach, retaining their appearance and behavior from previous games. They only appear in Giddy Sky. The game also introduces a sleeping "Calm" variant called a C. A. F. H. Bro, which is comparatively more common. Strangely, Peach can instantly defeat the enemy by simply touching it if it is close enough to the ground.
