Template:Infobox Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, tentatively known as Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020[1], is the sixth installment on the Mario & Sonic series. It is based on the real-world 2020 Summer Olympics, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan. It is set to release for the Nintendo Switch in Winter 2019. An arcade version is also set to release in 2020.[2][3] Unlike previous games, all characters seem to wear appropriate sports clothing depending on the event. Interestingly, Mario's sneakers used for athletics is identical to the sneakers he wore in Mario Tennis Aces.
