Template:More images Template:SMOlocation-infobox The Dark Side of the Moon is a secret kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey, and is the greater location to Rabbit Ridge. It is reachable once the main game is completed and 250 Power Moons have been obtained.[1] Rabbit Ridge is the home of the Broodals, and is ruled over by Madame Broode. Due to her love of vegetables, many statues of vegetables can be found scattered around the kingdom, primarily turnips. The largest one, however, is a carrot statue known as Rabbit Ridge Tower. In Rabbit Ridge Tower, the Broodals challenge Mario to a rematch. Outside the tower, many generic rabbits wearing top hats can be found; they can be neither spoken with nor captured. Rabbit Ridge is, according to the brochure, "the last word in dedicated wedding planning".

Power Moon Locations

There are a total of 24 Power Moons on the Dark Side.
(❸=Multi-Moon)

  • 01: Arrival at Rabbit Ridge: ❸ Obtained after defeating all Broodals and RoboBrood at Rabbit Ridge Tower. There is only one heart after defeating the Broodals and before confronting RoboBrood.
  • 02: Captain Toad on the Dark Side!: Received from Captain Toad after finding him near the top of Rabbit Ridge Tower.
  • 03: Breakdown Road: Hurry!: Same as Down and Back Breakdown Road from Wooded Kingdom, but without the assistance of Cappy (therefore cannot capture Banzai Bill to return to Power Moons).
  • 04: Breakdown Road: Final Challenge!: Same as Below Breakdown Road from Wooded Kingdom, but without Cappy. Therefore, Mario must guide the Banzai Bill underneath the main platform through precise long jumps on a series of single-brick platforms.
  • 05: Invisible Road: Rush!: Obtained after traversing this secret area and defeating all three Big Poison Piranha Plant at the end without the aid of Cappy
  • 06: Invisible Road: Secret!: Found in a treasure chest.
  • 07: Vanishing Road Rush: Found at the end of a secret area similar to Metro Kingdom's Motor Scooter Daredevil! mission area, which has to be beaten without the aid of motor scooters and Cappy.
  • 08: Vanishing Road Challenge: Found in the Vanishing Road Rush mission area on a side road. The location is identical to Full-Throttle Scooting!.
  • 09: Yoshi Under Siege: Obtained after eating ten berries as Yoshi in a secret area similar to Metro Kingdom's Moon Shards Under Siege mission area.
