Archaeologuess is the story minigame of Shy Guy and can only be played and unlocked when Shy Guy's Jungle Jam is completed in Mario Party 4. Its name is a pun off the word "archaeologist". It is a game of odd-one-out that takes place in an ancient chamber.

Gameplay

In the minigame, the player must determine which shape out of five has one difference from the other four. If a player were to guess incorrectly, the shape would fall down and flatten their character. A correct guess would send the shape flying towards the Shy Guy picture in the back of the room. The player wins by getting three correct guesses before their opponent.

Controls

  • Control Stick – Move
  • A Button – Press the Switch
