A Mega Cheep-Cheep along with some normal-sized Cheep-Cheeps in New Super Mario Bros..

A Mega Cheep-Cheep is a large Cheep-Cheep that appears in New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It will not target Mario or Luigi, but instead will follow a path oblivious to them, just like normal Cheep Cheeps. Mega Cheep-Cheeps are colored orange and are similar to Boss Basses. Each one is usually followed by about three Cheep-Cheeps. In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, their size has been reduced so they appear to just be slightly bigger.

Mega Cheep-Cheeps also make a minor appearance in Mario Party 8. In the mini-game Rowed to Victory, the losing team of boaters will be chased by a Mega Cheep-Cheep and a few Cheep-Cheeps.

A Mega Cheep-Cheep also appear in the game Mario Party DS in the mini-game Cheep Chump. It will try to suck in the player by creating a whirlpool. It also makes the largest whirlpool, making it harder to avoid.

Mega Cheep-Cheep will also appear in Mario Party 9 as a boss.
