Isn't there a clearer picture of that Bomb Boos. Princess Butterfly 14:33, 24 November 2007 (EST)

The model is the actual model from the game. Found by hacking into the game. linkswordmi2.gifPaper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·linkswordmi2.gif
Hacking in to the game to get models is unofficial, and besides, the model seems too polygonall to be legitimate. Marcelagus (TCE)
But it's in the game itself. This is what the people used. They just change the sprites a bit to make it less polygonall and stuff. linkswordmi2.gifPaper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·linkswordmi2.gif
No, it's not in the game itself. That's exactly why you dont see it in the game being used. These "3d models" are unofficial, and should not be used. Only Artwork, sprites, and screenshots should be on articles. Marcelagus (TCE)

These are OFFICIAL MODELS. In-game.

These ARE in the game itself.

Girrr, I think it's very cool that you can get models and stuff. However, this was not something published by Nintendo, and was not meant to. That's why we don't have action-replay screenshots on the wiki. If you have any concerns, just drop a line on my talk page. thanks. Marcelagus (TCE)
The models are in the game themselves. If they weren't, we wouldn't be playing as Mario. We would be playing as Mr. Blank Man. Please, get more information before posting things you have no idea. linkswordmi2.gifPaper Jorge ( Talk·Contributions)·linkswordmi2.gif
Just because a model is in a game doesn't mean it is official. Pokemon has a few test areas in its source code, but they aren't considered official areas. - Myles Artwork of Luigi for Mario Party DS

Black Boo

Should it be worth noting that this boo is somewhat similar to black boo from You vs. Boo in Super Mario Bros. Deluxe? --GigaMetalLuigi 18:45, 2 April 2010 (EDT)

They look similar to each other. R.O.B.Remembered Old BuddyROBSSB4EN.png

Why did the Bomb Boos even make an appearance in Super Mario Galaxy 2? I bet Mario can beat Bouldergeist head on with a Rock Mushroom for ease, except you had battle him the same like before, but hey, I do like Bomb Boos reappearing in the game and why they be used against the Sliver Chomps in Battle Belt Galaxy?Super Mario 1-20

Take that kind of talk to the forums. User:Yoshiwaker47/sig

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter if Mario could more easily defeat Bouldergeist with the use of a Rock Mushroom or not, because the player is not given a Rock Mushroom to use in the battle, they are given Bomb Boos. Our job is to document what actually happened in the game...

Species

Is bomb boo really a boo species? I know it looks like one, but it could be a sub-species of Bob-omb. Mainly because Mario can grab it like a bob-omb, and it's black and explodes. AxemGreen33 20:57, 8 January 2011 (EST)

They have Boo in their name, they look like Boos, and they sound like Boos. I'm pretty sure it's a boo. --Reversinator 11:01, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
Could they be a combination of bob-ombs and boos because the look and act like bob-ombs and also like boos, maybe undead bob-ombs?General bob-omb.JPGGeneral bob-ombArtwork of a Bob-omb, from Mario Kart Wii. 18:26, 25 May 2011 (EDT)
I highly doubt it, if we use that type of argument, we could just as easily say that Bouldergeist is a combination of a Boo and the Rock Mushroom.
