The e-Coins of World-e.

e-Coins are a rare type of coins found only in World-e of Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3. Fairly well hidden, only three of the eleven levels released outside of Japan have e-Coins.

Little is known about the e-Coins, except that each one is unique and features a different image on one side. The other side of an e-Coin has the letter "e" on it. Each e-Coin can only be collected once by Mario or Luigi before going on display in World-e's castle, where they reside in individual frames with their level of origin underneath.

There are eight frames and eight e-Coins, but they appear to serve no purpose other than bragging rights; this said, visiting the castle reveals a small display in the top-left corner reading "1F".
